Bringing Healthy Back: 20 in 2
Ok I started a new challenge today Monday 10/29/12 and it goes on until Christmas 12/25/12. The challenge name is Bringing Healthy Back: 20 in 2. 20 pounds in 2 months.
I have a group on www.myfitnesspal.com Bringing Healthy Back: 20 in 2 and there are several members (72 at the present time) embarking upon this challenge. I was so happy to see that so many people are actually trying to get the same results. We are there to help motivate each other to get to their goal weights. Its nothing like having support on any journey you decide to take. Join in if you are ready to shed some of those pounds by Christmas. I know that will be the best Christmas/Bday present I could ever ask for. My user name is WynterSkeyes if you would like to become my friend for extra support and pushing. Enough of the promo LOL. But seriously I will not be doing a daily journal of my foods this time around, that became a time consuming and tedious task after a minute. I will be doing The Firm workout on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I will be doing Wii Fit Free walk for an hour. On all those days I will do my arm exercises 4 sets of 50, ab exercises 4 sets of 50, squats 50 and push-ups 2 sets of 20 because those mugs are killer. And rest on the weekends (unless I eat something I have no business eating (Shhhh don't tell nobody else)). Happy losing everyone. Hope to see a small and healthier you by Christmas.
And remember if you fall off the wagon, the next step is to get back on. Don't give up on something you really need and want. It's not an easy task to lose weight, you just have to be determined to make a change for the better. What's the saying.....You didn't gain the weight overnight and you won't lose it overnight. So stick it there, it will be well worth the sweat and tears.

Happy Happy Joy Joy
Ok today I was getting ready to go grocery shopping and while entering the closet something said try on some old jeans. Soooooo........I did. I 1st tried a pair of 14 jeans that I only wore a couple of times about 4 years ago. I was thinking before I put them on I probably cant get in them yet. I put them on and low and behold them mugs went all the way up and buckled with no problem at all.

So after I modeled those around and took my pictures I said ok lets see what else is in here. I found a pair of jeans I made a mistake and bought about 2 yrs ago. They are a size 17 junior. I bought them and got them home and tried them on.... oh boy.....I couldn't get those mugs pass my knees. And now........

So at this point I really want to run outside and tell everybody.......but of course I just modeled around again and took my pictures. Smiling from ear to ear. I went back in the closet and found a pair of size 12. I haven't wore these since what.... 2007 maybe. I said to myself I know these aren't going up, but its fine I will get in them next month. I put them on and............Yeeeeaaahhhhh Booooyyyyy!!!!!!

I can fit into a size 12 what!!!!!! I havent been in a 12 in forever. And guess what- things will only get better. I am so excited. Motivation is definitely in overdrive now. Oh and when I got on the scale this morning I was 207. Big Girl say what!!!!

A Weight Loss Inspiration

Tasha has transformed her body going from 236 to 163. That’s a loss of 73 pounds!!
She Says,
“Hi my name is Tasha and I started my journey mid January. Journey as in life style not diet! I worked hard to lose weight starting at 236 and I’m down to about 163 close to goal which is 160. I eat clean foods and I cook my own meals. I eat veggies, fruits daily and drink plenty of water everyday. I workout five days a week doing weight training three days a week, Jillian Michaels twice a week and some tabata and HIIT all at home no gym! I count calories daily on fitness pal app. I measure and weigh my foods. My main focus is more toning now and building mean muscle. No one has pushed my but me. Anyone can do it if I did. I don’t believe in excuses. I’ve become addicted to working out and I love it and I also love to cook clean meals so my next goal is to become a nutritionist/ trainer.
It’s not just about exercise its about what you’re eating as well. I always say its 80% clean eating and 20% exercise and this is true. It all starts with what’s in your kitchen and what you’re putting in your plate. I’m very strict with what I do. I have a foods scale and weigh my foods and I use measuring cups and spoons. I measure everything. That’s the only way to get a accurate count. I track all that I eat. To some it sounds like too much but it’s not and its worth it to me.”
She is such an inspiration to me because she was were I am and is now where I want to be. She also did the very same thing I am doing to loss the weight. So that lets me know I am on the right path and I can get where I want and need to be. I just I have to stay consistent and dont give up. Thank you Tasha.

THE END: WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE
Yayyyyyyyyy the last day of the challenge. I thought today was going to never get here. Its a bitter sweet moment right now. Did I met my 10lbs goal? You will find out later. Hahaha. Ok ok I will tell you now...........YES YES YES. And I celebrated by having a Checkers burger yeah I know I was wrong but oh well tomorrow is a new day. Hehehehe.
I did The Firm Cycle 1 Sculpt workout and arm exercises today. No extra nothing, but like I said tomorrow is a new day. I really didnt feel like doing anything at all today.
My meals for today and my last weigh-in are below. As far as continuing with my weight loss, well its still on. The challenge is over but I have to continue to strive for better and get down to my 160. Its a must. Lets keep it going Losers!!!!!!

Day 26 Weight Loss Challenge
Day 26!!!!!!!!YAYYYY!!!!!!!!!! Its the weekend bae-by and almost the end of the challenge. The weekend is so hard for me though and I cant understand why. Its already started, the pounds that were melting off all week are trying to come back in one day. But it ok because my 10lbs will be met by Monday.....I hope.
I did The Firm Cycle 4 Cardio workout and 30 mins walking. I didnt do any abs, arms, squats or back exercises today. Yeah I was lazy.
My meals for today are below. My goals for the weekend are to not undo what I have worked hard for the month by over indulging on things I dont need but want so badly. LOL Wish me luck. Until tomorrow; Happy Losing, Losers!!!!!!!!!!!

Day 25 Weight Loss Challenge
Day 25 I'm getting more excited by the day to see what Monday will bring. This morning I made my 10lb goal but lets see what the weekend will bring. Weekends and days off period throw me off my schedule and I also get bored and eat more. I hope by Monday I am down at least 2 more pounds. But over all, I am happy with the challenge. It has been very hard but well worth it.
I walked for an hour using Wii Fit Free Run. I also did my abs, arms, back and squats. I altered my abs, arms and back routine because adding 5 more everyday was doing to murch (yes I said murch). I started doing 20 reps of 4 different set of abs exercises as well as 20 reps of 5 different sets of back and 20 reps of 5 different sets of arm exercises. I added 5 to each every day so I was on 65 each. So that was 260 abs and 325 arms and back each night. That was toooooo much to handle. So I keep the all my sets but went back to 50 each.
My meals for today are below. My goals for the weekend are to stay motivated. I dont exercise on the weekend (on Friday yes) so that takes away from the extra calories I may want to indulge in so that hurts too. But oh well. Until tomorrow; Happy Losing, Losers!!!!!!!

Days 21-23 Weight Loss Challenge
Day 21 WooWhooo man 1 more week. Honestly I am so tired and getting frustrated about this challenge. I only lost .2lb for the week. So frustrating but I cant get mad because my Auntie Red was in town and I was snacking big time. So to only lose .2lb I brought that on myself. If I dont lose 4lbs this week I wont meet my 10lb weight loss for the challenge. But I can say, for the last month and a half I have loss 13lbs; not too bad.
I did The Firm Cycle 4 Sculpt for my workout today. I also did abs, back, arms (55 each) and squats (125). Since Oct 1 I had been doing my arm exercises with my squats but today I had to separate them because the squats by themselves are giving me mad business. I dont know what I am doing wrong with the exercising because honestly I dont see a difference. There is a difference in my clothes so I know I have lost weight but as far as exercising and strength I see no difference. But guess what......its ok because I know its coming.........I hope.
